Foswell in Manzanita

Foswell is a uniquely-designed home nestled in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks north of downtown and surrounded by natural landscape. Secluded in the trees, just four blocks from downtown and five blocks to the beach, you feel away from the hustle and bustle.  You’re close enough to town though, where you can enjoy boutique shops, get a cup of coffee, a great meal at the pub or pizza spot and even get a treat for your pup at the pet store. You’re sure to enjoy long walks on the beautiful seven-mile stretch of sandy beach.

From the main deck, as you walk through the front door, you’ll notice the natural light from all the windows and skylights letting in the sun from every angle.   The warm colors of the wood floors and cedar woodwork lend a cozy feel to the home.  The windows let you see the greenery from all around and it feels like you’re in a tree house.

The main house has a greatroom where everyone can relax and visit while making dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, or play cards and board games at the large dining table. But there are also many places to find some time to yourself to read a good book or just to unwind after a long day. The sunken TV room offers an extra sleeping area with a futon and pocket doors that close for privacy.  Off the master bedroom is a small light-filled sunroom as well. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet lined in cedar and a large attached bathroom with shower.  

Outside the kitchen/greatroom area, there is another large deck with a table and chairs to enjoy while barbecuing, reading or sunning on the deck.  Watch the trees sway in the warm breeze and listen to the birds chirp and the chipmunks complain as the afternoon passes. 

Across the main deck, there is a guest suite perfect for a second couple to enjoy a little privacy. It’s equipped with a comfortable bed, a full bath with a shower, and a large skylight bringing in dappled sunlight. 

Though the entire yard is not fenced, your dog will love the main deck and attached dog run.  After joyous romps on the beach, this perfect dog lovers' retreat will allow spaces for you all to relax.
